Putnam County Jail

Seven people were booked into the Putnam County jail recently.

* Rodney Milen Compton, 39, Terre Haute, was booked in at 6:47 p.m. Thursday by jail staff for failing to appear in court.

* Sean Edward Harris, 36, Greencastle, was booked in at 9:13 p.m. Thursday by Greencastle Police Officer Matt Huffman on a petition to revoke probation.

* Clete Anthony Warren, 36, Greencastle, was booked in at 10:41 p.m. Thursday by Putnam County Sheriff's Deputy Ronnie Campbell for violating home detention.

* Terrell Brandenburg, Jr., 31, Freedom, Ind., was booked in at 2:03 a.m. Friday by jail staff for failing to appear in court.

* Nicolas Ray Duncan, 23, Greencastle, was booked in at 10:21 a.m. Friday by jail staff on a court order.

* Tracy Lee Hoehm, 32, Greencastle, was booked in at 11:53 a.m. Friday by Greencastle Police Officer Michael Collins for theft and check fraud.

* Jason Lee Jones, 28, Greencastle, was booked in at 12:17 p.m. Friday by Greencastle Police Officer Michael Collins for check fraud and check.

Sheriff's Dept.

Putnam County Sher-iff's Deputies were dispatched to one crash recently.

* Deputy Ronnie Campbell responded to a car-deer crash on County Road 125 South near County Road 500 West at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Edward W. Watts, 78, Plainfield, was driving west on County Road 125 South when a deer came out of the woods and struck his 2004 Chevrolet Impala.

The crash caused $1,000 to $2,500 in damage.
