Ian Merritt Boswell, 24, Key Largo, Fla., formerly of Indianapolis and Greencastle, died Monday.

He graduated from Coral Shores High School and attended Valencia Community College. He was a member of the Key Largo Baptist Church.

At age 14, he worked for Key Divers in Key Largo as a mate until age 21. He then worked for Comcast for more than a year.

Survivors include his parents, Gary and Marcia (Merritt) Boswell, Key Largo; girlfriend Heather Hoefert; grandparents, Claude and Dorothy Boswell of Tennessee; grandmother Corenia Pitchford of Indiana; grandparents, Bill and Bonnie Merritt of Indiana; great grandmother, Geraldine Neeley: and Uncle Mark Merritt, Key Largo.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2 at the chapel at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield, with calling there one hour prior to services.

Arrangements are being handled by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
