Stella Catherine Nauert, 104, Greencastle, died Monday at Mill Pond Health Campus.

Born in St. Magdalene, Ind., she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary R. (Meisburger) Wagner.

She had been a homemaker and cook with Decatur Central Schools for 15 years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and a former member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Indianapolis.

She married Earl P. Nauert in 1923. He died in 1968.

Surviving are a son, Paul J. Nauert, Greencastle; a grandson and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death y her parents, husband, son Carl N. Nauert in 1950, and sisters Dorothy Reiver and Freida Fallon.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Fr. Stephen Jarrell officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Indianapolis.

Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Thursday.
