Lilah L. Hart

Lilah L. Hart, 84, Coatesville, died Sunday morning at Heartland Healthcare, Avon.

Born in Louisiana, she was the daughter of Robert and Florence (Mount) Church.

She had worked for the State of Indiana Revenue Department for 11 ½ years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the New Winchester Baptist Church and the Groveland Order of Eastern Star.

She married Raymond Hart Jr. on July 22, 1966. He died July 8, 2005.

Surviving are a stepdaughter, Deborah Jackson, Crawfordsville; brother James Church and wife Jane, Coatesville; sisters Martha Nichols and husband Jerry, Coatesville, and Evelyn Gick, Greencastle; two stepgrandchildren and several stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters and a brother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Winchester Baptist Church with Rev. William Goss officiating. Burial will be in New Winchester Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville.
