Rue Anne Weist

Rue Anne Weist, 72, Greencastle, died Thursday evening at Mill Pond Health Campus in Greencastle.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of Wilson and Virginia (Donnohue) Wheeler. She was a 1953 graduate of Greencastle High School.

She married Joseph F. Weist on July 19, 1971, and he survives.

She worked at the Central National Bank, the Putnam County Clerks Office for eight years and was the manager at the cable TV office for 10 years.

Additional survivors include four stepsons, Randy Weist, Brentfield, Tenn., Rick Weist and wife Julie, Fillmore, Ronald Weist and wife Karen, Cloverdale and Rodney Weist. Fillmore; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor Dave Clayton officiating.

There will be no visitation and Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
