Frances Mae Major, 80, Bainbridge, died Thursday at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.
Born in Fillmore, she was the daughter of Fred and Ada (Nichols) Robinson.
A 1946 graduate of Fillmore High School, she had been a homemaker and a member of the New Maysville Community Church.
She married Jack Duer Major on Aug. 29, 1948. He survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Debra Wilson, Bainbridge; son Mark Major, Spencer; sisters Ina Porter and Dorothy Goodwin; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Catherine, and brothers Henry and Donald.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Larry Edwards officiating.
Entombment will be in Pinelawn Mausoleum at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is 11 a.m. until service time Saturday.
