Deputies search in the snow behind the Tri-County Bank in Russellville for clues.

A bloodhound was brought in to look for tracks outside the Tri-County Bank at Russellville Friday morning following a robbery.

Detectives were busy at the scene interviewing bank employees and searching the alleyway next to the bank. They were unable to give any information to the BannerGrahphic at the time.

Witnesses said a white male, 5 foot 7 inches tall, entered the bank sometime around 10 a.m., wearing a red scarf, gray coat and blue jeans. Initial reports are the suspect did not display a weapon but carried a black folder.

A sign reading, "Closed" was hung in the window of the bank following a robbery Friday morning.

It appeared the officers were searching in the parking lot directly behind the bank and down the alleyway next to the bank. Deputies fanned out across the town and surrounding contryside in a search for a suspect.

The BannerGraphic hopes to obtain more information from the lead detective later this afternoon.
