CMS wrestlers compete in tourney

CRAWFORDSVILLE -- Cloverdale Middle School's Zack Couse won the 180-pound weight class at Saturday's Southmont Invitational. Couse went 4-0 with three pins and a 7-6 decision in the championship match. At 95 pounds, Jacob Camacho placed second for the Clovers with a 3-1 record. Jacob Creasey went 3-1 to place third at 120.

Eldin Hesselgrave was 1-2 to place fourth at 100.

Kody Kohler (145) and Brian Dale (220) each went 1-1 and did not place. Tyler Carrell (105), Cody Atwood (110) and Jay Metzger (130) all went 0-1. Michael Gramer went 0-1 at 130-pound reserve.

Cloverdale visits Speedway at at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday for a four-way match.
