Putnam County Jail

Several people were booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

* Stephen Grover Thompson, Plainfield, 44, was booked in at 11:32 a.m. Friday on a petition to revoke probation. He was arrested at PCJ.

* Brian Doan, 25, Reelsville, was booked in at 8:21 p.m. Saturday for driving while intoxicated with prior conviction, public intoxication and possession of marijuana. He was arrested by Deputy Josh Boller.

* Gregory L. Sanders, 49, Crawfordsville, was booked in at 8:59 p.m. Saturday for driving while suspended or revoked. He was arrested by Greencastle Officer Darrell Bunten.

* Gregory Grant Grigsby, 22, Brazil, was booked in at 12:11 a.m. Sunday for possession of marijuana, driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested by Greencastle Officer Matthew Huffman.

* Scott W. Anderson, 38, Terre Haute, was booked in at 2 a.m. Sunday for driving while intoxicated and public intoxication. He was arrested by ISP Trooper Wood.

* Jerry L. Gott Jr., 51, Poland, was booked in at 3 a.m. Sunday for driving while intoxicated. He was arrested at PCJ.

* David Samuel Dolins, 19, Northbrook, Ill., was booked in at 6:49 a.m. Sunday for reckless possession of paraphernalia, public intoxication, driving while intoxicated, possession of alcohol by a minor, and possession of marijuana. He was arrested by DePauw Officer David Barber.

Greencastle Fire Dept.

Four runs were recently completed by Greencastle firefighters.

* On Friday, March 7, at 3:25 p.m., crews were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident to conduct a fuel spill clean-up operation at 66 Putnam Plaza. They returned to the station at 3:44 p.m.

* On Friday, March 7, at 8:32 p.m., crews were dispatched to a vehicle accident to conduct a fuel spill operation at the corner of Washington and Vine streets. They returned to the station at 8:42 p.m.

* On Saturday, March 8, at 4:25 p.m., crews responded to an alarm at 208 East Olive Street. They returned to station at 4:40 p.m.

* On Sunday, March 9, at 12:47 a.m., crews were dispatched to 109 West Hannah Street, but were disregarded en route by DPU. They returned to the station at 12:51 a.m.
