Wilma Banta Myers, 93, Marshall, died Friday evening at St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis.

Born in Parke County, she was the daughter of Bruce and Nellie Rice Banta. She married A. Paul Myers, and he preceded her in death in 1991.

She was a member of Wolf Creek Church and attended Friends Union Church and both of the Ladies Aid societies. She was also a 50-year member of Sugar Creek Homemakers Club.

Survivors include two sons, Larry D. Myers and wife Louise, Marshall, and Gary P. Myers and wife Norine, Greencastle; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, and one step-great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Thomas Banta, Rice Banta and Robert Banta and sister Mary Banta Hesler.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Butler Funeral Home, Rockville, with Brother Don Perry and Pastor Lester Niles officiating. Burial will follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery.

Visitation is 11:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
