Ronald Lee Bolton Sr., 79, Cloverdale, died Thursday at The Waters of Greencastle.
Born in Terre Haute, he was the son of Arlie and Orpha Larue (Davis) Bolton. He married Patricia Ann (Scott) Bolton on July 12, 1957, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 4, 2007.
He was an auto-truck mechanic for the U.S. Postal Service, Indianapolis, and a former Marion County Deputy Sheriff.
He was a member of Oakland Lodge No. 140, F&A.M., Oaklandon, Ind.
Survivors include two daughters, Terry Lynn Nicholls and husband John, Indianapolis, and Jamie Sue Busic and husband Dorlan, Indianapolis; three sons, Michael Kelly Bolton and wife Linda Sue, Indianapolis, Steven Lee Bolton, Martinsville, and Ronald Lee Bolton Jr. and wife April Lynn, Martinsville; a sister, Shirley Jones and husband David, Indianapolis; 13 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Richard Wayne Bolton.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Highland Lawn Cemetery Chapel, Terre Haute, with Bro. Bobby Jewell officiating. Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, is in charge of the arrangements.
