Goodin announces she's running for county council
Cara Goodin is a candidate for the Putnam County Council at large seat on the Republican ticket in the May primary election.
Her family moved to Putnam County in 1996. Cara is the wife of Ron Goodin and has three children, Daniel 19, Dana 17, and stepson Brad, 30. Cara and Ron have two grandchildren.
Since 2005, Cara has served as the retail banking manager for Old National Bank at the downtown Greencastle location.
She has 10 years of financial experience and 20 years of management experience.
Cara is an active member of Kiwanis and currently serves as the treasurer of the Putnam County Museum.
She said she believes in tighter controls for spending and more accountability for funds being spent.
Cara's focus is on developing small business in Putnam County and keeping local residents involved with the community.
