Jim Lanphier

Jim Lanphier, 65, Cloverdale, died Friday.

Born in Indianapolis, he was the son of Robert and Dorothy Lanphier.

He retired from Consolidated Freightways and was formerly employed at Stokely Van Camp and Acme Machine and Tool.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; four daughters, Lisa Lanphier, Kim Fulkerson and husband Chris, Bonita Murphy and husband Pat, Holly Glaze and husband Chad; a son, Jamie Lanphier and wife Stacy; a brother, Bob Lanphier; a sister, Judy Lanphier; eight grandchildren; a sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center, Indianapolis, with Pastor Brice LeBlanc officiating.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
