Beverly A. Jones

Beverly A. Jones, 70, Cloverdale, died Friday at Putnam County Hospital.

Born in Cloverdale, she was the daughter of William Haltom and Nina Maude (Kelly) Halton. She married Kenneth D. Jones on May 30, 1957, and he survives.

A homemaker, she attended Millgrove United Methodist Church.

Additional survivors include two sons, Melvin Jones, Cloverdale, and Michael Jones, Quincy; two sisters, Sharon Galloway and husband Joseph, Cloverdale, and Marcella Kennett and husband Jim, Graysville, Ind.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Dora Corbett, Dawn White and Laurra A. "Tootsie" Cummings, brother John Bill Haltom and a grandson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Bro. A.J. Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Mannan Cemetery, Cloverdale.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
