Bretscher qualifies for Olympics trials

Greencastle grad Andrew Bretscher has qualified for the U.S. Olympic Swimming trials held in Omaha, Nebraska June 29-July 6 and the U.S. Open set for July 29-Aug. 2 in Minneapolis, Minn.

Bretscher swam a 55.05 in the 100-meter butterfly, coming in .54 seconds under the Olympic standard and .64 under the Open standard.

He will be joined by nine teammates at the trials.
