Two people were booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

* Roger Moran, 64, Centerpoint, was booked at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday on violation of probation charges.

* Jon Heck, 55, was booked at 1:46 p.m. as part of a petition to revoke probation.

Greencastle Fire Dept.

The Greencastle Fire Department made the following runs recently:

* On Monday at 10:41 p.m., crews were dispatched to a structure fire at 2558 E. CR 500 North to assist with departments from Floyd Township, Bainbridge, Danville and others. They returned to station Tuesday at 12:17 a.m.

* On Tuesday at 2:05 p.m., crews were dispatched to assist with an EMS rescue at 2921 E. CR 275. They returned to station at 3:17 p.m.
