SP track teams in action

CLAY CITY -- The South Putnam track teams traveled to Clay City Tuesday night for a four-way meet with Clay City, Shakamak and Eminence. The Lady Eagles won their meet, scoring 92 points. The Eagle boys placed third with 53 points.

Due to a technical problem, individual girls' results were not available on Wednesday evening.

For the boys' the shot put was the main highlight, as Adam Masters won with a throw of 45-feet-2 inches. Conor Frame placed second with a throw of 39-1.

Masters also won the discus with a throw of 127-8.

The Eagles' other winner was Chris Smiley, who won the 300 hurdles in 45.2 seconds.
