Tiger Cub JV baseball defeats Clovers

The Greencastle junior varsity baseball team moved its record to 5-0 Wednesday night with a 15-5 win over Cloverdale in five innings.

Starter Kyle Johnson picked up the win for GHS, striking out eight Clovers in four innings of work. Landon Patterson worked the fifth for the Tiger Cubs.

Kyle Johnson, Landon Patterson and Tanner Battin each picked up two hits for the Cubs. Pat Richardson added a triple.

No stats were available for Cloverdale.

GHS was back in action on Thursday at South Vermillion. They will travel to Speedway with the varsity on Monday.
