GHS baseball gets second win over Speedway

Greencastle's baseball team won its second game in a row with another one-point victory over Speedway 10-9 Tuesday night.

Again the Tiger Cubs used some late inning heroics to get the win. Trey Ford hit a two-run triple in the bottom of the sixth inning and then scored on a balk. Greencastle's winning run came from Kyle Johnson when he scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Greencastle exploded in the second inning, scoring six runs on five hits.

Logan Grzesiek picked up the win for the Tiger Cubs.

Greencastle (2-8, 2-4 WCC) will host Crawfordsville at 11 a.m. Saturday.
