Four people were booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

* Kathleen Oreovicz, 41, was booked at 3:01 p.m. Monday for driving while intoxicated.

* Jonanthon Davidson, 18, Greencastle, was booked at 3:29 p.m. Monday as part of a court order.

* Tony Lalen, 47, Spencer, was booked at 5:49 p.m. Monday for a parole hold.

* Clifford Patterson, 21, Fillmore, was booked at 8:49 p.m. Monday for violation of probation and furnishing alcohol to a minor.

Sheriff's Dept.

One accident was investigated recently by the Putnam County Sheriff's Department.

* On April 25 at 11:23 p.m., Jeremiah Martin, 26, Greencastle, was eastbound on U.S. 40 near Putnamville when a deer entered the roadway and he was unable to avoid hitting it.

Damage is estimated between $1,000 - $2,500.
