The Greencastle junior varsity softball team picked up a big win over visiting North Montgomery Wednesday night. The Tiger Cubs pounded the Chargers 14-0 in five innings.

"They played really well. They had one error on defense and they played really good. They got some good experience tonight," GHS head coach Dave Keller said.

Kayla Nobles got the call for Greencastle and she proceeded to throw a complete game with two hits, six strikeouts and four walks.

Brooke Miller recorded two hits on the night, a single and a double, and Skyanne White added a double of her own. Jordyn Lewis and Shelby Patterson had two singles each.

Greencastle put runs on the board in the first four innings on Wednesday's contest to secure the win.

"They put the bat on the ball. I think we only had a couple of strikeouts. They did a good job. They're a good, fun group to be around," Keller commented.

Tennile Burgeson had a double also, and Jordyn Lewis had a triple, double and a single not 2 singles. Good Job Girls
