The board seat to be filled is currently held by Barry Fisher, who joined the board in 1999. The position is a four-year term, which will begin on July 1.

Interested parties can pick up applications from Greencastle Township Trustee Thelma Bumgardner at 620 Tennessee St. Applications can also be obtained by calling 653-5918 or 653-5549.

Deadline for applications is May 21. On that date, the Greencastle Township trustee and Advisory Board will meet in an executive session at 4 p.m. to select three finalists for the seat.

The three finalists will be interviewed at 4 p.m. at a meeting on May 30 at the Greencastle Township Trustee's Office. This meeting will be open to the public.
