Betten-Jedele to marry

Kara Ann Betten and Paul Robert Jedele were engaged Jan. 1, 2008. They are planning an Aug. 2 wedding in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Parents of the couple are Dennis and Lori Betten, Ada, Mich. and Robert and Jamie Jedele, Greencastle.

The bride-to-be graduated from Grand Rapids Christian High School and the University of Michigan where she is currently attending graduate school.

The future groom graduated from Greencastle High School and Butler University. He is currently serving with AmeriCorps, Detroit, Mich.

The couple will reside in the Pacific Northwest following the wedding.
