Post office thankful for food donations

To the editor:

On behalf of the NALC and the Greencastle Post Office, we would like to thank all those who made this years food drive a success.

We collected 3,580 pounds of food beating last years amount of 2,880. Special thanks to Wal-Mart and Bainbridge BP for your generous contributions, to the residents of Putnam County, to all Putnam County Post Offices, to Darrel and Sherry Woodall, the Senior Center and the Putnam County Food Pantry. Last, but not least, to the mail carriers who made that extra effort to pick up food on their mail routes.
