Several people were booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

* James Starks, 26, Indianapolis, was booked at 4:11 p.m. Thursday for failure to appear.

* Brain Branagin, 33, Greencastle, was booked at 4:31 p.m. Thursday for contempt of court.

* Joshua McKenney, 22, Pendleton, was booked at 2:14 a.m. Friday for public intoxication.

* Nicholas Shelter, 20, Greencastle, was booked on Friday for failure to stop after causing damage, operating while intoxicated and possession of alcohol by a minor.
