Janelle Mason and Hayden Rogers

Janelle Mason and Hayden Rogers each won a $200 scholarship recently at the inaugural Youth Spring Tournament at Alex Alleys.

Mason won first place in Division II (119 average and below) with an 880 series. Mason also recently earned a place in the National Pepsi Tournament.

Rogers totaled a 1,207 for his six-game series to win Division I (120 average and above).

There were only four bowlers in Division I, so the $200 prize was the only one for that division. With fourteen bowlers in Division II, Brittany Friars captured a $75 scholarship for her second place score of 857, and Nathan Criss won a $50 scholarship for his score of 844.

The GGUSBC Youth Committee and Janelle and Rob Alex would like to thank Joyce and Bernie Cline of J.L. Cline Jewelers for a $200 donation that helped make the scholarships available.
