Norma Jean Ronk

Norma Jean Ronk, 78, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Hendricks Regional Health Hospital.

Mrs. Ronk was born Nov. 9, 1929 in Newport to Roy and Florence Noggle Holton.

She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church at Barnard. She worked at Fowler's Clothing Store and the Dime Store in Roachdale and Abundantly Beautiful in Crawfordsville and Jamestown.

She graduated from Roachdale High School in 1949. She married Lester V. Ronk on Jan. 7, 1951 at Crawfordsville, and he survives.

Also surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Steve McGaughey of Roachdale and Mary Ann and C.J. Adams of Crawfordsville; a brother, Bud Holton of Greencastle; a sister, Rosemary Dickerson of Roachdale; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Her parents, a brother, Thomas V. Holton and a sister, Betty Perkins, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home, Roachdale, with the Revs. Wally Bean and John Nolan officiating. Calling will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery.
