Saturday, June 28, 2008

The Indianapolis Colts or Alumni Players and Cheerleaders will be visiting Rockville and Spencer.

The "Make It Personal" Tour visits towns all across Indiana as a way to give back to fans. ESPN the magazine recently honored the Indianapolis Colts as the number one franchise of the top four pro sports.

This ranking is based upon numerous factors including how teams give back to the fans.

"We provide hundreds of free events for our fans every year. The Make It Personal Tour is our way of giving back to our fans and to thank them for their continued support. We want our fans all across the state to be able to touch the Colts franchise in their own backyards," said Tom Zupancic, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Indianapolis Colts.

The Rockville event will be on Monday, June 30 between 4 and 6 p.m. on Town Square, 127 S. Jefferson St. The Spencer event will be held on July 2 at Owen Valley High School on West S. Highway 46 at the same time. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to these events.

The Tour is sponsored by Bluegreen Resorts, Grange Insurance, Meijer and the United States Army.

Make It Personal tour elements include meet and greets with Colts players and alumni Colts players and cheerleaders. Fans may also participate in the "Bleed Blue Blood Drive" by donating at the Indiana Blood Center mobile units, register their kids for the Colts Kids Club, register-to-win tickets to a Colts pre-season game, pick-up free Colts giveaways and experience the re-designed Colts In Motion, the teams traveling museum. ...give them bread and circus...

Let the circus reign in our attention as those with power steal our liberty and livelyhood in their quest for unlimited power.
