Bretscher finishes 59th in Omaha

Ohio State swimmer and Greencastle grad Andrew Bretscher finished 59th at the Olympic swim trials held in Omaha, Nebraska Friday.

Bretscher enter the event seeded 65th after swimming a 55.05 to qualify for the trials. In Friday's heat race, Bretscher knocked .18 seconds off his time finishing his race in 54.87. He finished in 59th place, 3.35 second behind heat winner and world record holder Ian Crocker.
