Born on Oct. 17, 1932 in Hendricks County, he was the son of Emil Clem Wilcox and Hazel Dessie (Terry) Wilcox. He married Edna Mae (Dickison) Jackson Wilcox.
He was a laborer for Harrison Steel Casting Co., Attica. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include a step-daughter, Joyce A. Ray and husband Robert Steven, Attica; a step-son, Rocky Jackson, of Terre Haute; sisters, Vivian Orpha Henson, of Lafayette, and Shirley Dubois of Indianapolis; special friends Troy and Sydney Fields and Curly Henson; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, stepson Bub Jackson, brothers Lee Edward Wilcox and Jewell Ray Wilcox.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cloverdale Cemetery with Rev. Myron Welty officiating. Visitation is private.
Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, is in charge of arrangements.
