Wanda Masten Wallace was a lifelong resident of Coatesville, Ind., born to Clyde and Jennie F. Masten on Nov. 13, 1926.
Wanda was the beloved wife of Burt Wallace for more than 40 years. Wanda was a graduate of Indiana Business College and worked as an executive secretary for Eli Lilly and Co.
She and Burt owned a restaurant and Laundromat in Coatesville. Wanda was so loved and respected by her family and friends and will truly be remembered as a very courageous lady, one who met life's challenges again and again and still kept her keen sense of humor and wit.
Wanda was recently preceded in death by her husband, Burt and her sister, E. Lavona Crook.
She is survived by her sister, Imogene Masten, her nephew, John Masten Cook, her niece, Jennifer Crook Buchanna, four great-nieces and six great-great-nieces and nephews. May peace be hers.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville. Burial will be at Coatesville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 22 from 5 until 8 p.m.
