Robert "Bobby" Glenn, 70, of Brazil, passed away July 27, 2008 at Union Hospital.
He was born Oct. 2, 1937 in Brazil, the son of William Madison Glenn and Lu Ella (Smith) Glenn.
After attending Brazil High School, Bobby worked at Arktex for several years, sold and filled fire extinguishers, and was over maintenance at the Clay Community Schools bus garage.
On Aug. 3, 2005, he married Marilyn McCall Modesitt, and she survives.
Robert attended Bee Ridge Church, enjoyed karaoke, spending time with people and his dog, Sadie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings. Thomas Glenn, William Glenn, Frederick Glenn, Elmer Glenn, Olca Glenn, Virgil (Pinkey) Glenn, Dorothy James, Ola Mae Phipps and Bertha Lou Ford.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn Glenn; daughter, Robynanne Cash-Howard and husband Mark of Seffner, Florida; son, Scott Glenn; and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 7 p.m. at French Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Bridgewater officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. At the request of the deceased, cremation will follow.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Bee Ridge Church; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
