Joyce Temple

Joyce Ann Temple, 78, of Coatesville, died Friday, Aug. 1, 2008 at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.

Born Dec. 10, 1929, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Prince and Jenny (Bayge) King III. She married John N. Temple Sr. on Sept. 3, 1949.

She was a retired bookkeeper, Regan Baking, Indianapolis and Indiana State Farm, Putnamville.

She was a graduate of Shortridge high School.

Survivors include her husband, of Coatesville; two daughters, Deborah Doan, of Coatesville, and Donna Kay Sears, of Indianapolis; two sons, Mike Temple, of Mooresville, and Tim Temple, of Camby; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Prince King IV.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Pastor Paul Fulp officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Greenwood.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
