Beverly Lynn Leech, 73, native of Indiana, went home to her Lord on Friday, Aug. 1, 2008.

She passed into the Lord's arms in her home in Katy, Texas surrounded by her children following a long illness. Beverly was born in her Grandmother's home in Belle Union, the daughter of Sedwick and Christine (Cooper) Sandy.

Beverly was a 1952 graduate of Kokomo High School, Kokomo, Ind. She married Terrance Clifford Leech on Feb. 22, 1958. They spent many years raising their family in Fort Madison, Iowa, in the 1960s and 1970s.

They then moved to Colorado, where they later divorced. Beverly then resided in Kokomo. After Bev retired in 1999 from National City Bank, she shared her time between Kokomo and Katy, Texas where two of her daughters reside.

Beverly was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, crafts, reading, volunteering at her children's and grandchildren's school functions, and fellowshipping at her church. She also thoroughly enjoyed spending quality time with her many relatives in Indianapolis.

Surviving are five children, Jeffrey Leech and his wife Cindy, Littleton, Colorado, Beth Andersen and her husband Kevin, Katy, Texas, Linda Morrow and her husband Joseph, Kokomo, Ind., Scott Leech and his wife Jenny, Crystal Lake, Ill., and Kimberly Knab, Fort Collins, Colo. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren: Nicole, Kelsey, Kiersten, Natalie, and Matt Leech (Colorado), Christine and Danielle Andersen (Texas), Ryan Morrow (Indiana), Hailey, Molly, Mackenzie, and Shelby Leech (Illinois), and Genesis and Micah Knab (Colorado). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as by her ex-husband, Terry Leech, who resides in Evergreen, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Lee Sandy.

The family would like to give special thanks to Beverly's family and friends, as well as to her church family at West Oaks Fellowship (Katy, Texas).

Memorial services are at 2 p.m. Monday Aug. 18 at Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home, 602 E. Washington St, Greencastle. Burial will follow in Walnut Chapel Cemetery in Belle Union. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time on Monday.
