Marilynn M. Carmichael

Marilynn M. Carmichael, 85, of Greencastle died on Friday Aug. 15, 2008.

She was born on June 23, 1923 in Brazil to Roy Hershall and Meda Marie Wright Herbert.

Mrs. Carmichael was a homemaker. She married Wilbur Carmichael on Dec. 24, 1944 and he preceded her in death on July 31, 2008.

Her parents, and a twin sister, Marguerite M. Herbert also preceded Marilynn in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Coffey and husband, Robert of Cedar Park, Texas; and a son, Joe Carmichael of Greencastle.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hopkins Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Calling will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
