Tiger Cubs fall to Chargers
CRAWFORDSVILLE -- The Greencastle volleyball team visited North Montgomery Tuesday night, falling to the Chargers in three games, 25-15, 25-10, 25-7.
Against a 9-1 North Montgomery team, GHS coach Trish Lowe had to give the Tiger Cubs (2-10, 0-2 WCC) credit for the strides they continue to make.
"We are seeing lots of improvement," Lowe said. "I am so happy with the leadership of Brooke Lewis, Kayla Nobles, Jordyn Lewis and Mallory Miller. We are doing a much better job getting the ball where we need to."
Miller led the Cubs with 10 assists, while Nobles had four kills. Jordyn Lewis had four points, and Brooke Lewis had 13 digs. Braden Amis led the way with six blocks.
"This was a very good team and we had some great points," Lowe said. "We must get more consistent and play for entire matches, not just points."
Greencastle visits Tri-West at 6 p.m. today.
