Farm market extended

Thursday, September 18, 2008

Good news is coming from the Greencastle Farmers' Market.

Officials with that organization say they have had such great success this summer, they have requested to extend their season.

The city council has given the farmers' market folks permission to continuing operating from 8 a.m. until noon every Saturday, now through Oct. 25.

For anyone who may not be familiar with the market, it is held each Saturday on the north side of the Putnam County Courthouse in downtown Greencastle.

Everyone is invited to come down and check it out.
