Fitch honored for blocked kicks

DePauw junior defensive end Alex Fitch has been named to the d3football.com Defensive Team of the Week for his performance in the Tigers' 27-20 win over Sewanee.

Fitch totaled five tackles in the contest and blocked a first-quarter field goal attempt and a fourth quarter point-after kick.

The 3-0 Tigers take a 2-0 SCAC record into Saturday's 2 p.m. game at Millsaps (4-0, 2-0). Saturday's game can be heard on WGRE 91.5 FM.
