Garza's 156 leads fourth-ranked Tigers to victory

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - Fifth-ranked DePauw shot a second-round 313 for a two-round total of 644 and won The Pat Clouse Invitational by seven strokes over Otterbein at the Windy Knoll Golf Club.

DePauw's Nikki Garza and Otterbein's Rustie Anderson each shot a 156, but Garza was declared the medalist. Garza shot an opening-round 77 and followed it up with a 79 today.

Taylor Beaty shot a tournament-best 74 in the second round and finished in a tie for third at 157, while Natalie Gough shot a 75 today and a 161 for the tournament which was good for 10th place.

Annie Mail tied for 24th with a 170 and Meagan Hayes tied for 37th with a 176. Kelly Gaughan played as an individual and tied for seventh at 160, while Ali Rifkin tied for 29th with a 173.

DePauw returns to action on October 20-21 at the Rhodes Collegiate Classic in Tunica, Miss.
