Why invest in Greencastle?

To the Editor:

Can you imagine wanting to spend over a million dollars in Greencastle to improve our apartment shortage?

Willing to pay our high property taxes, and the people on the planning committee didn't even show up to hear your plan.

I'd sure want to spend my money here!

The people on Seminary Street had to pay for their own sidewalks because they live on the gateway to DePauw.

Nine of the 13 sidewalk jobs plainly are directed to DePauw, and four of the six streets to be paved all benefit the university.

What about Indianapolis Road we all have to drive on?
