Putnam County Jail

There were a few bookings at the Putnam County Jail recently.

Jonah M. James, 29, Plainfield, was booked at 1 p.m. Tuesday for failure to appear.

Levi W. Runnells, 18, Greencastle, was booked at 3:59 p.m. Tuesday for probation violation.

William C. Howard, 20, Fountaintown, was booked at 9:47 p.m. Tuesday for probation violation.

Harry F. Bolton, 46, West Terre Haute, was booked at 12:16 p.m. Wednesday for failure to appear.

Correction

The phone number given for information from Main Street in yesterday's Halloween Hours article has been disconnected. Main Street board members use their home or office numbers. Clarification

Property tax installments A and B have been issued together. Installment A will be due Nov. 1 with installment B due Jan. 23, 2009. The story "Some taxpayers get a break" contained imprecise information.
