Ms. Caldwell was born Aug. 26, 1944, in Indianapolis to Arthur Paul and Frances Gail (Stevenson) Schober.
She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Millgrove. She was employed as a bookkeeper at the Holiday Inn and the Walden Inn.
Surviving are her mother in Indianapolis; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Deborah and Mark Hurst of Greencastle, Tammy Caldwell of Indianapolis, Suzanne and Ron Burton of Greencastle and Tina Hall of Cloverdale; two sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur and Angie Caldwell of Spencer and Luther and Kathy Caldwell of Spencer; a sister, Carol Schober of Colorado; a brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Sue Schober of California; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Her father preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with the Rev. Nick Robertson officiating. Calling will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery, West Newton.
