Patricia Mason Beer

Patricia "Pat" (Mason) Beer was born in Youngstown, Ohio on Oct. 26, 1933 to Thomas E. and Margaret M. (Pautot) Mason and completed her earthly journey on Nov. 12, 2008. After marrying Jerry Beer in 1955, they were a military family until they moved to Greencastle in 1972. Pat worked for DePauw University for nine years before moving to Indianapolis in 1986.

She was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church, where she worked for 10 years, and was a member of the Sunshine Club and a Small Church Community. She had been a volunteer at St. Vincent Hospice.

She is remembered by her husband Jerry of 53 years and daughter Therese (Jud) McKinney of Indianapolis, sons Terry (Kathyrn) of St. Paul, Minn. and Tim (Paula) of Tucson, Ariz. She is also remembered by her brother Robert (Beth) Mason of Tallmadge, Ohio and by four loving grandchildren Kyle, Paul, Danielle and Erik.

Calling will be held Monday, Nov. 17, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. with a scripture prayer service at 7:45 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd. West Drive Indianapolis, Ind. 46228.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008 at 10 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church 6131 N. Michigan Rd. Indianapolis, Ind. 46228. Entombment will be at Washington Park North Cemetery.
