Norma Jean Leslie

Mrs. Norma Joan Leslie, age 77, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday morning in her residence surrounded by her family. Born May 11, 1931 in Greencastle, IN she was the daughter of John Patterson and Opal (Grimes) Patterson. She married Carl E. Leslie and he survives. She had worked at K-Mart in customer service. Her hobbies included her family and friends, and traveling.

Survivors include her husband, 3 sons, Douglas E. Leslie and wife Beryle, Robert "Mike" Leslie and wife Sherry, and John L. Leslie and wife Terri, all of Terre Haute; 6 grandchildren, Tracie Brown and husband Scott, Ashley Hall and husband Craig, Amanda Leslie, Andrea McKinney and husband Thomas, John Robert Leslie, and Jessica Leslie, all of Terre Haute; 6 great grandchildren, Roy Brown, Austin Brown, Aaron McKinney, Andrew McKinney, Alex McKinney and Emily McKinney;8 siblings, Marcella "Sally " Stewart and husband Roy, Doris McMains, Shirley Inman, Kay Gilley and husband Robert, Jack Patterson and wife Wanda, Furman Patterson and wife Norma, Donald Patterson and wife Adrienne, and Keith Patterson and wife Joan. Her parents, 2 sisters Edith Fall and Virginia Pulliam, and 2 brothers, John Patterson and Robert Patterson all preceded her.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home. Services are Wednesday at 11 Am at the funeral home with Pastor David Deal officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Vista Care of Terre Haute.
