Nancy D. Cooksey, age 67, of Greencastle died on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009 in Greencastle.
She was born on April 6, 1941 to Earl and Betty Webb Denham in Crawfordsville. She married Robert E. Cooksey on March 8, 1965 in Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death on September 18, 2000.
She worked at various places including Pace Dairy, Lane House Nursing Home, and Telrepco at Roachdale.
Surviving are four sons, Stephen Cooksey and wife Cynthia of Morton, Robert Cooksey II and wife Faye of New Ross, Charles Cooksey and wife Robbie of Morton and David Phelps and wife Brenda of North Salem; five daughters, Kathy Taylor of Alabama, Mildred Smith and husband Travis of Bainbridge, Roberta Jean Honn and husband Mike of Poland, Betty Jane Wyeth and husband Mark of Santa Fe, Tenn. and Diana Prell of Indianapolis; 19 crandchildren and several great-grandchildren; six brothers, Danny Webb of Phoenix, Ariz., Jim Webb of Wallace, David Webb of Ladoga, Roger Webb of Roachdale, Jesse Webb of Russellville and Larry Morphew of Roachdale; and three sisters, Bonnie Ford of Russellville, Donna Schoolcraft of Roachdale and Sherry Dee Purcell of Crawfordsville.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6 at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home in Roachdale. Pastor Randall Glenn and Father Todd Kleffman will officiate. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery at Morton.
Calling will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
