After earning second team all-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference honors, DePauw junior defender Beau Sorg has garnered all-region accolades.

Sorg was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America all-Great Lakes Region Third Team. He anchored a defense that allowed just 13 goals this season for the 8-4-6 Tigers.

DePauw finished 21st in NCAA Division III in team goals against average at 0.66 and were 28th in shutout percentage as the Tigers blanked nine of their 18 opponents.

After earning Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors earlier this week, DePauw senior guard Mike Moore has been named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week.

Moore scored a season-high 30 points in DePauw's 78-74 win over 18th-ranked Centre. The win snapped Centre's 22-game regular season SCAC winning streak.

During the span, the Tigers also captured their second straight Tampa Shootout title and Moore was named to the all-tournament team.

Moore averaged 20.3 points in the three games along with 5.3 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game. With a near triple-double of 10 points, nine rebounds and nine assists against Drew, he also broke the SCAC career assists record of 499 and now has 508.

In the three wins, Moore shot 40 percent from beyond the arc (8-20) and connected on 18-of-46 shots from the floor (39.1 percent).

The honor is the second of Moore's career as he earned the distinction once last season. Moore entered the season as a D3hoops.com preseason all-America selection.
