Kenneth C. Gorham

Kenneth C. Gorham, 79, of Greencastle died Tuesday, Jan 13, 2009 at Mill Pond Health Campus after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.

He was born in Putnam County on Aug. 16, 1929 to Dora and Jewell Ruark Gorham. He married Mildred Huffman on July 5, 1947 and she survives.

Mr. Gorham retired from IBM due to ill health. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He loved nature, hunting and fishing.

He is also survived by a sister, Gerri Shepherd and husband Tom; a daughter, Peg Lenley and husband Bruce; a son, Kim Gorham and wife Vicky; brother Don Gorham; and four grandchildren, Chelsea and Ryan Lenley and Kory and Nicholas Gorham.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Dallas, Earl, Bob and Tommy Gorham; and a sister, Dorothy.

Chandler-Hays Funeral Home is charge of cremation and private viewing. There will be no services in accordance with his wishes.
