Cloverdale places fourth

The Cloverdale eighth grade boys basketball team placed fourth at the CMS Invitational on Saturday.

Cloverdale lost their opening game to White River Valley 35-33, then lost the third place game to Cascade 33-20. Eminence was the eventual winner with their 37-22 win over White River Valley.

In the Clovers' first game, Justin Wilson led the way with 14 points, with Dustin Cummings adding nine. Brody Pfaff, Will Andersen, Nick Cupp, Austin Mannan and Chris Worthington all chipped in two points each. In game two, Cummings scored seven, Andersen added four with Pfaff, Wilson and Mannan all scoring three points each.
