Putnam County Jail

William Stewart, 50, Greencastle, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 2:15 a.m. Saturday for public intoxication.

Zachary Bryant, 18, Coatesville, was booked at 12:52 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication, possession of alcohol by a minor and operating a motor vehicle with blood alcohol level of .08 or greater.

Christopher Bouly, 20, Berryville, Ark., was booked at 1:42 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication.

Cody Martin, 20, Eureka Springs, Ark., was booked at 2:18 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and operating per se.

Katherine Wickman, 19, Greencastle, was booked at 2:56 a.m. Sunday for possession of alcohol by a minor and public intoxication.

Michael Gilliam, 37, Cloverdale, was booked at 6:49 p.m. Sunday for disorderly conduct and battery causing serious bodily injury.

Taurean Terry, 27, Greencastle, was booked at 8:51 p.m. Monday for probation violation and failure to appear.

Ryan Chastain, 20, Vincennes, was booked at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday for possession of alcohol by a minor and operating while intoxicated.

Robert Taylor, 28, Stockton, Calif., was booked at 8:03 a.m. Tuesday for possession of marijuana over 30 grams and dealing in marijuana.

Sheriff's Department

Jacob Ballard, Reelsville, was traveling south on County Road 900 West at 8:25 a.m. Jan. 14 when a deer entered the road. Ballard was traveling at 25 m.p.h. due to the snow-covered road and was unable to avoid colliding with the animal. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Rick Hays, Cloverdale, was traveling north on County Road 325 East at 11:17 a.m. Sunday when he ran off the right side of the road and overcorrected. His vehicle flipped over on the east side of the road. Steele's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Kayla Alspaugh, Greencastle, was traveling south on Manhattan Road at 9:31 a.m. Sunday when she slid off the right side of the road due to an icy patch. Alspaugh attempted to keep the vehicle on the road, but struck several large rocks. Jerry's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Hoa Trinh, Orange, Calif., was traveling west on Interstate 70 at 6:51 a.m. Sunday when an icy patch on the road caused his Sports Utility Vehicle to slide into the side of the bridge and into a ditch near the 43-mile marker. Steele's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Nancy Lovett, Greencastle, was traveling northeast in the parking lot of First Assembly of God when her vehicle began to slide due to the ice. Lovett's vehicle slid into a parked vehicle. Lovett was uninjured. The accident occurred at 10:05 a.m. Sunday. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

James Havens, Greencastle, was traveling north on County Road 300 East at 10:05 a.m. Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions. He was unable to regain control causing his vehicle to hit a ditch where it impacted a utility pole and concrete fence post fracturing both. The vehicle came to rest north of the initial impact. Havens was uninjured. Jerry's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Stephen Shotwell, Greencastle, was traveling east on U.S. 40 just west of U.S. 231 at 7:15 p.m. Jan. 15 when the right front tire of his vehicle blew causing it to shred. The tire caused damage to the front bumper of the vehicle. Jerry's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Steven Trout, Greencastle, was stopped in the southbound lane attempting to turn left onto Westlane Road. Trout's attention was diverted to vehicles traveling behind him and failed to see a vehicle driven by Chantelle Armitage of Reelsville who was traveling north. Trout made his turn and struck Armitage's vehicle. The accident occurred at 2:55 p.m. Jan. 7. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Dustin Carmack, Cloverdale, was traveling south on County Road 750 East at 6:33 p.m. Saturday when he lost control of his pick-up truck due to icy road conditions. His truck hit a ditch causing it to flip and land on its roof. Steele's Wrecker Service flipped the truck to its tires and towed it from the scene. Carmack was uninjured. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Russell Beemer, Greencastle, was traveling west on Airport Road at 6 a.m. Sunday when he slid into a fence due to icy road conditions. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Heather Headley, Russellville, was traveling west on County Road 25 North at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday when she lost control of her vehicle as she attempted to negotiate an icy curve in the road. Her vehicle slid across the eastbound lane before leaving the road and striking an embankment. Headley and her passengers were uninjured. Seniour's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Joshua Propes, Coatesville, was traveling north on County Road 675 East when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions. His vehicle began spinning and left the road. It then struck a fence post, ripping out the post and causing damage to the wire fencing. Propes attempted to leave the scene, but was stopped by the property owner and a passing motorist. Propes had a suspended license. The accident occurred at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday. There was an estimated $750 to $1,000 in damages.
