Virginia E. "Ginnie" Keller

Virginia E. "Ginnie" Keller, 83, of Cloverdale died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009 in Greencastle.

She was born on June 28, 1925 in Cloverdale to the late Daniel Holbert and Verna Alice Lasley Nickerson. She married Albert "Vint" Keller on Nov. 7, 1943, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1991.

Mrs. Keller was a homemaker and production worker for International Harvester in Indianapolis during World War II.

Survivors include daughters Alice Sutherlin and husband Greg of Cloverdale and Alesa Scott and husband Gary of Brooklyn, sister Betty Smith of Indianapolis, brothers Eddie Nickerson and wife Nancy of Cloverdale and Keith Nickerson and wife Shirley of Leesburg, Fla. and grandchildren Emily Sutherlin, Shane Sutherlin and Nathan Scott.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Holbert Daniel, Eugene E., George, Ronald and Hubert P. Nickerson.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Burial will be at Cloverdale Cemetery.

Calling will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
